There are many interesting places in Upper and Lower Basildon and the surrounding area.
The closest is Basildon Park which lies directly between Upper and Lower Basildon and featured in the 2005 film adaptation of "Pride & Prejudice".
By the river in Lower Basildon is Beale Park which is full of unusual animals and is a great place for children.
Just down the road in Pangbourne there's the water sports centre Adventure Dolphin.
In Hampstead Norreys there's the Living Rainforest and Berkshire's best kept secret Bucklebury Farm.
For rail enthusiasts, The Didcot Railway Centre is only 10 miles away.
